Memphis comes to Myrtle

Memphis comes to Myrtle

The Southern Coast may seem an unlikely place to find authentic, Memphis-style barbecue and ribs but, thanks to a trio of pork lovers from Charleston, this delicacy is easily accessible to anyone along the Grand Strand.

You may have heard about Sticky Fingers on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, as host Stephen Colbert originates from Charleston and has lauded the South Carolina institution on more than a dozen episodes. But he’s not the only one singing sticky-fingered praises; the restaurant has been featured in numerous national publications, including Food and Wine, The Wall Street Journal, Golf Magazine, and Bon Apetit, who declared that the ribs were “fall-off-the-bone delicious.” The ribs and barbecue have also won hundreds of awards, including the “Best Ribs” category in every city where they are located.

The ribs have a portion to the menu devoted entirely to them and, with five different styles and flavors to choose from, it’s no wonder why. Each of the sauces coating every slab are available in more than 2,000 locations across the United States.

Sticky Fingers includes a wide variety of combinations to customize a perfect meal. Since most patrons come seeking the famous ribs, the menu predominantly features a variety of dinners that pair ribs with one of the other featured meats, such as the slow-smoked chicken or the incredibly succulent pulled pork. Less popular but no less delicious are the featured sandwiches and entrée salads that put a Southern twist on healthy classics, like the Smokehouse Club salad, containing smoked, pulled chicken along with a plethora of fresh vegetables on a bed of romaine lettuce. Sticky Fingers has a lunch menu that offers the same dinner favorites in smaller portion-sizes with comparable prices. And as if that weren’t enough options, a kids’ menu, specialized to-go menu and full catering service are also available to suit every possible dining demand.

The Myrtle Beach Sticky Fingers is located in the southernmost point of the Coastal Grande Mall, just off Harrelson Blvd at 2461 Coastal Grande Circle. The number there is (843) 839-RIBS (3988). The North Myrtle Beach Sticky Fingers is at 4200 Highway 17 South and their number is (843) 663-PORK (7675). Both are open from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily. The catering line for both locations is (843) 839-2837. For menus, other locations, and sauce retailers, visit their website at http://www.StickyFingers.com or call 1-800-STICKYS.
